A380 -helping Heathrow retain its premier hub title
18.03.08The Airbus A380 flew its first commercial flight into Heathrow from Singapore today.
The greener, cleaner, quieter aircraft will become a familiar sight over London skies, flying the early morning longhaul route from the Far East.
" This fantastic aircraft will help us retain Heathrow as a premier hub airport while at the same time giving residents the experience of a much quieter aicraft and one that is a remarkable step forward in fuel burn, therefore lowering carbon dioxide emissions," said Clive Soley, Campaigns Director of Future Heathrow. "
